HAKURIN

This is a micro spacer that adjusts the chainline. If you care about every 0.1 second, try "Hakurin" to achieve a chainline with the lowest possible friction resistance.

HAKURIN (means Micro Ring in Japanese) is a stainless steel spacer that adjusts the position of cogs and cranks to achieve the ideal chainline. It comes in five sizes, from 0.05 to 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, and 0.7 mm thick. By stacking two pieces, you can adjust for minute differences of 0.1 to 1.0 mm. We have a set of 3 pieces that can be purchased individually and shared with friends, and a set of 10 pieces for heavy use shops and pro mechanics.

I rememeber hearing that one athlete measures the thickness of the spacers and separetes them to within 0.1mm, and I was impressed by his desire to win and an effort to eliminate even the slightest frictional resistance. By the way, the size of the plate material is not exactly the same. We added 0.05 mm for the racers who pursued it to that extent. Please pursue a chainline that suits you with HAKURIN.

Some people may wonder what 0.1 mm makes a difference, but if you measure the shell width, you will see that not everything is according to the standard. The dimensions change if you perform horizontal facing on the BB contact surface and remove the paint. HAKURIN is a product for mechanics and athletes who are particular about perfecting their settings, even with minute differences of 0.1mm.
