Micro spacers for mechanics who want to perfect the chain line. We propose a "Micro World" setting, and will satisfy you at the sensory level of your legs.

HAKURIN (means Micro Ring in Japanese) is a stainless steel spacer that adjusts the position of the cogs and cranks to achieve the ideal chainline. It comes in six sizes, ranging from 0.05 to 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, and 0.7 mm thick. By stacking two pieces, you can adjust the difference from 0.1 to 1.1 mm.

In the past, I heard that a certain keirin racer measures the thickness of the spacer with a vernier caliper and separated them in 0.1 mm increments, and I was impressed by his attention to detail and his athletic spirit (the plate material does not come in exact dimensions). By adding 0.05 mm, you can achieve a fine-tuned chainline.

If you have read this far, you may be wondering what 0.1mm makes a difference, but just measuring the shell width does not mean that everything is according to the standard, and the dimensions will change if you perform horizontal facing on the BB contact surface. HAKURIN is a product for mechanics and athletes who are particular about perfect settings, even if the difference is just 0.1mm.

[Note]
※HAKURIN cannot be used with press-fit BBs.
