"Fully specialized for track bikes" and features a 4mm x 5mm hex wrench. Experience the new torque transmission feel of the X handle and the unique workability that is different from standard hex wrench designs.

The GENEX45 is an X-handled hex wrench equipped with 4mm and 5mm hex wrenches for tightening and loosening hex socket bolts. The GENEX45 is designed for setting up stems, handlebars, seat posts, and chainrings. The hex socket on the handle side is compatible with 5mm chainring bolts, which require the quickest turning. The bit side has 4mm and 5mm hex sockets on both sides, and length is 70mm. The surface is plated with hard chrome, which is the hardest electroplating and has excellent abrasion resistance for the finest finish.

The flat type has a non-slip knurled tip, which supports quick turning with the long handle wrench (5mm width). The GENEX45's bit is designed to be longer, so you can apply final tightening torque to the chainring bolt while holding the bit side.
If the bit is worn out, you can replace it. You can purchase only the bit on the GENEX series dedicated bits page.

The GENEX45 is a hex wrench that will also be used by mechanics from leading countries at the 2024 Paris Olympics. It was developed with the idea in mind of a wrench that professional mechanics would want to keep in the pockets while working in the busy infields of track stadiums, where they are constantly replacing parts and dealing with unexpected issues.
About Replacing the Head Cap
Depending on the task, the protruding head cap may interfere with parts or the frame, making it difficult to use the tool with the top cap still attached. In this case, use a set screw instead of the silver head cap to hold the 4mm x 5mm bit. The set screw is included with your purchase.
※2.5mm hex wrench is required for the set screw.
