COG1218LS

This one tool can be used to attach and remove 12t to 18t sprockets and lock rings. Compact and useful for expeditions.

The COG1218LS is a sprocket wrench that has been downsized so that it can be easily stored in a gear bag. The hook on one side can turn 12t to 15t sprockets and the lock ring with the chrome plated plates, and the hook on the other side can turn 16t to 18t sprockets. The number of compatible gears is laser engraved on the body, so please check it before use.

The plate for the lock ring, which is prone to wear, can be replaced, allowing for a lifetime of use. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to replace the plate. To prevent the screws from loosening, we recommend using LOCTITE Threadlock 222 or Threadlock 243.

The COG1218LS is 260mm long. It is more compact and lighter than the 330mm COG1218L, but it can apply enough torque that it has been certified as one of the tools provided to students at Japan Institute of Keirin. Inspired by the design of Western armor, we aimed to create a tool that would fullfill the sence of ownership and be used for a long time.

Screws used :
●For 1215 plate: SUS (+) flat head screw M4 x 10
●For 1618 plate: SUS(+) slim head screw M4 x 8

*This is a tool for removing and attaching steel or titanium alloy cogs. Do not use on aluminum or carbon cogs as it may cause damage.
